Sylhet Art and Autism Foundation (SAAF) is a non-profit service-oriented organization, established in 2011. The core mission of the foundation is to promote fine arts in Sylhet and to ensure education, therapy, and creative development for children with autism and other special needs.
In 2015, the foundation received official registration under the Ministry of Social Welfare and has since been carrying out its activities consistently. At present, the foundation operates the following institutions:

To ensure quality education and therapy for both mainstream children and those with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders.
To nurture creativity, provide training, and build technology-based skills for all children.
To empower parents through awareness and training so they can effectively care for their children at home.
To promote social inclusion and self-reliance through art and creativity.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, launched an online helpline and online classes to continue serving children with special needs.
Regularly organize parent training sessions, health camps, art exhibitions, and workshops.
Celebrate every small achievement of special children, helping to build their confidence and self-esteem.
We believe that every child is unique and full of potential.
Through art, therapy, and education, we are committed to nurturing their talents and creating opportunities for inclusion and self-reliance in society.
Sylhet Art and Autism Foundation (SAAF) has worked with various donor agencies in the past and continues to engage in unique and socially significant initiatives. From the very beginning, our philosophy has been βto serve the country with whatever resources we have.β
2014 β Organized a nationwide art competition against child marriage, with support from the British High Commission, Dhaka.
On behalf of the organizers of the Art Competition Against Child Marriage, Ataul Gani Umon received a token
of appreciation from Mr. Mark Clayton of the British High Commission.
2014, 2018 & 2019 β Hosted art competitions on earthquake awareness, in collaboration with Islamic Relief Bangladesh.
